The Federal Ministry of Education has ordered the re-opening of schools for students in exit classes so they could take their final examinations.

Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad made the announcement in an update he made on Twitter, where he stated that schools are ordered to resume by August 4th.

He tweeted:

“The federal government orders the re-opening schools for secondary school students in exit classes on August 4, 2020,”

In the message, he said the move was made ahead of the start of the West African Examinations (WAEC) – a region-wide test for graduation from secondary school – on Aug. 17.

A ministry of education statement included in the tweet said students would have two weeks to prepare for the exams.

It said the decision was taken to reopen for students in “exit classes” following a meeting between the ministry, education officials from all 36 states and the Nigerian Union of Teachers.

Nigeria has reported 40,532 coronavirus infections including 858 deaths and the number of deaths has jumped from 460 since the schools plan was postponed on July 9.

Nollywood: Actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she has forgiven her ex-husband Churchill Olakunle for the sake of her son, King Andre.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has revealed that she has forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, for the sake of her son, King Andre.

The pair have been in a social media war after their marriage crashed in the year 2017.

The duo got married on August 25 of 2015 but things came to an end in 2017. Their separation and subsequent divorce was a messy one as they accused each other of several things and called each other unprintable names.

Although they share a son King Andre from their failed union, the former lovers remained cold towards each other with occasional jabs from either party at the other.

In a recent interview with journalist, Dele Momodu, Tonto Dikeh revealed that she has forgiven her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill for the sake of their child, King Andre.

The actress while speaking on the importance of forgiveness, said she forgives so she would not be stagnated in life, career and other ares and that she has gotten to read the part of the bible where God said he wouldn’t forgive us if we do not forgive others.

She also stated that she forgives easily now but doesn’t like being provoked by the things a person does after she has forgiven such a person.

It can be recalled that Tonto Dikeh had earlier this year revealed that she is now in a new relationship and that her boyfriend is a Muslim.

Tonto Dikeh recently posted a photo of herself in an Islamic regalia and wished her Muslim fans a Happy Ramadan. She wrote:

“Ramadan Mubarak to all Our Muslim Brothers and Sister, May Allah accept our Prayers, Bless Us and Heal the World..

.

.

We are with you in spirit and in Truth..

Allah Bless you"

BBNaija: Actress slams Nengi, urges her to stop eliminating Mercy Eke(aka,Mercy Lambo)

BBNaija: Actress slams Nengi, urges her to stop eliminating Mercy Eke(aka. Mercy Lambo)
Since the start of the 2020 Big Brother Naija show, many social media commentators have accused Nengi of trying to copy Mercy Eke in all she does.

Actress Maryam Charles, has now joined those making the claims, as she stated that Nengi is using the particular method for herself to get popular.

Maryam Charles made this known in a recent social media post, as she expressed displeasure over the way the housemate goes around almost half-naked.

I’ve been watching this season of BBNaija and I won’t lie, I’ve been disgusted by what Nengi has been doing. Am I the only one wondering whether this girl has clothes at all? Because it seems anytime the camera is on her, she is either half naked or wearing something showing off her bum For Christ sake, is she telling us that it’s only when you show your nudity that you will win the show? Is it only when you twerk that fans will appreciate your ‘talents?’ It makes no sense! I dont blame her though. She learnt it from another ex housemate Mercy. Remember how Mercy too used bottom power to win the show when there were more talented people there? This rubbish has to stop. I don’t blame Nengi, she’s probably not smart enough to know that Mercy is not the kind of person to use as your role model. There are strong, influential and well respected women out there that can lead you in the right path. To the young girls out there as well, nudity is not a sure way to success. Sure, perverts will literally eat you up with their eyes, but that’s it. You will not gain anything. Instead, it’s your virtue that will reduce. Do not look at ladies like Nengi and Mercy as your role models, like I said earlier, there are better women out there.”

In a new interview, Doja Cat revealed that she had recently tested positive for coronavirus, though she has recovered four days after.

Doja told Capital XTRA that she had symptoms that lasted for a few days — and blamed the food delivery app Postmates for contracting the virus.

During an Instagram Live, at the start of the pandemic, Doja Cat compared COVID-19 to the flu and seemingly shamed people who were taking precautions against the virus.

Bit**, I’m not scared of a coronavirus or the motherf***ing beer version of that s**t.”

“I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona cos I don’t give a f*** about corona, b****. It’s a flu. I’m not scared. Y’all are p****.”

“You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep — that’s all you gotta do. Y’all are so scared of some damn corona. Y’all are so scared of corona that I need a Corona.”
